Artistic activism is creative and conscientious. Creative<\/em> because it draws from the artist’s toolkit of brainstorming, craft, cleverness, and open-ended thinking to help people see the world differently. Conscientious <\/em>because it pursues social justice \u2014 and it does so in a deliberate way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free the Vaccine applies methods of creative advocacy that the Center for Artistic Activism<\/a> has studied and developed over more than a decade. These techniques are based on lessons from the social and behavioral sciences, the history of art and activism, and the world of advertising. They make creative advocacy stronger and more sustainable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
